When should I contact clients?

For care accepted more than 24 hours before* the scheduled start time, you must contact the client twice. 

First reach out:

Call the family within 24 hours of accepting care to introduce yourself and discuss their care needs.

Can’t reach them? Leave a voicemail and text your availability to connect.

Second reach out: 

Follow up by 5 PM the day before care to confirm final details.


*If the job starts less than 24 hours from the time you accepted, please reach out ASAP. You must reach out prior to leaving for care with the family.
