If severe weather makes it unsafe to travel or provide care, you may cancel the booking without penalty so long as all communication policies are followed.
Will a weather-related cancellation count against me?
No. Cancellations due to inclement weather do not count against your standing with Helpr as long as all other policies are followed.
What should I do if weather might affect a booking?
Please communicate with the family as early as possible and follow Helpr’s standard communication guidelines. When filling out the cancellation form, note severe weather or unsafe travel conditions due to weather as the reason for canceling.
What if a family cancels a booking due to severe weather?
If a family cancels due to severe weather, they won’t be charged. Helpr does not provide cancellation pay for severe weather-related cancellations — safety comes first.
